New Municipality of Fushë-Arrëz is bordered to the north heading towards Tropoja Municipality, west with the municipalities of Vau i Dejes and southwest with the municipalities of Puka and Mirdita. In the east is bordered by the Kukës municipality. The center of this community is the town of Fushë-Arrësi. This municipality covers an area of 540.42 km2, with a density of 21.55 inhabitants / km2 according to the Civil Registry and 13.70 inhabitants / km2 according to Census 2011. Fushë-Arrëzi consists of 5 Administrative Units: Fushë-Arrëz, Fierzë, Blerim, Qafë-Mali and Iballe. All administrative units have been part of the district of Puka and the district of Shkodra.

Mostar is a town situated on the Mediterranean part of the Balkans and Bosnia and Herzegovina, known for its long history and tradition. It is economic, cultural and tourist center with a pleasant climate where waterways of the old world and the West civilisation intersect, and where for many years in coexistence live different cultures and nations.

The Psychological Support Center "Sensus" is a non-governmental organization founded as an informal group in May 2010 by the Association of Young Psychologists by a group of students and students of psychology. From the very beginnings of our organization, we are guided by the desire for continuous development, improvement and progress. In the past four years, precisely because of this desire, we have also enhanced our own capacities with a series of educations from various therapeutic routes, participating in a series of workshops and trainings.

Sofia is the capital of Bulgaria and the biggest political, administrative, cultural and educational center in the country, with a current population of 1,8 mln. inhabitants. Sofia Municipality is an administrative unit with a status of a region and divided into 24 districts, administered by local mayors. The main activities include: preservation of the environment, healthcare, social, educational and cultural activities for the citizens of Sofia. The goals and measures for the development of the education system in Sofia Municipality are formulated in the Education Strategy for the period 2016 - 2023.

The Region of Istria is a unit of regional self-government in Croatia. It is governed by the President of the Region and two Vice Presidents. The representative body of the Region is the Regional Assembly which comprises of 45 councilors elected on the direct elections. Administrative bodies of the Istrian Region are administrative departments and Region's services established for the performance of works in the self-governing domain of the Region, as well as for the performance of works of state administration transferred to the Region. Currently, there are 11 administrative departments and 4 services which are located in different cities in Istria in accordance with principle of decentralization.

The Municipality of Strovolos was established in 1986 according to the Municipal Law Ν. 111/85 and is the second largest Municipality in Cyprus after Limassol, with a population of over 70.000 inhabitants. There are references to Strovolos or Strovilos since the Μiddle Ages from the well-known medieval chronicler Leontios Macheras and from Forius Boustronius a little later. According to these sources, Strovolos was a royal field during the years of Frankish Rule. A major figure in the history of Strovolos was the National Martyr Archbishop Kyprianos, who during the Revolution of 1821, contributed greatly to the preservation of the Greek spirit and Christianity.

In France, the Regions are local authorities in charge of coordinating all actions on their territory in favour of the economy. They are also responsible for transport organizing, vocational training, spatial planning and environment, European funds monitoring and they pilot agriculture and rural development policies at the regional level. The Regions are also responsible for the construction, maintenance and operation of general secondary schools, vocational secondary schools and agricultural educational establishments. In Normandy (3,3 million inhabitants), there are 390 secondary schools. The Normandy Regional Council has a programme of education activities for these schools.

Fyli is a municipality in the northwestern part of Attica, Greece. It lies in the northeastern corner of the West Attica regional unit and is a suburb of Athens. The seat of the municipality is the town Ano Liosia. Within bounds of the town is the ancient Attic fortress of Fyli. Its construction dates from the 4th-century bc. It has three major departments/communities: Ano Liosia, Fyli & Zefyri. The community of Fyli, although it is located at a short distance from Athens, it is somehow isolated from the large city, thus making it appear as a remote village in the countryside.

ActionAid is an independent, international organization that has been working since 1972, with over 15 million people in 45 countries for a world free from poverty and injustice. It supports people to rely on their own power to claim a life of dignity. The Tuscany Region is a local authority with guidance and programming functions. The Tuscany Region works to realize the full development of the person and the principles of freedom, justice, equality, solidarity, respect for personal dignity and human rights. As part of the promotion of human rights, the Region has been organizing an International Meeting since 1997, an event that has now consolidated as an important moment of confrontation between institutions and civil society in which to address the problems concerning universal human rights and propose solutions inspired to the values of peace, solidarity and democracy.

The municipality of Vila Franca de Xira is part of Greater Lisbon and is one of the 18 Municipalities that make up the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon (AML). It occupies an area of approximately 318 Km2, equivalent to about 11% of the total AML and 23% of Greater Lisbon, adding six parishes. According to the definitive results of the XV General Census of Population and Housing V, of the National Statistics Institute (INE), on March 21, 2011 (Census 2011), the resident population in the municipality of Vila Franca de Xira was 136,886 individuals: 65.808 men (48.07%) and 71.078 women (51.93%), being the 8th most populous municipality in Greater Lisbon (6.70%) and the 10th of the AML (4.85%).

AIDGLOBAL is a Portuguese Non-Governmental Organization for Development (ONGD), duly recognized by the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which aims to promote Action towards Integration and Development (AID), on a Global scope. Our vision and challenge is to make the world a more fair, equitable and sustainable place to live with high levels of literacy and education, promoting an active citizenship. We work in order to identify, design and implement strategies and actions that contribute to eliminate the impediments towards access to education and social inclusion in the Community of Portuguese Language Speaking Countries (CPLP), working directly with the population and local authorities.

Bucharest is situated on the banks of the Dâmboviţa River, which flows into the Argeş River, a tributary of the Danube. As with many cities, Bucharest is traditionally considered to have seven hills, similar to the Seven Hills of Rome. Bucharest has a unique status in Romanian administration, since it is the only municipality that is not part of a county. Its population, however, is larger than that of any Romanian county, and hence the power of the Bucharest General City Hall, which is the city's local government body, is about the same as, if not greater than, that of Romanian county councils.

Assistance and Programs for Sustainable Development – Agenda 21" is a Romanian non-governmental organization active at national level. The organization is not affiliated politically or religiously. It was founded in May 2003 with the goal of supporting Romanian policies and efforts to promote and implement in Romania the objectives of Sustainable Development. Our mission is to develop partnerships with local authorities in order to value local initiatives and to increase efficiency of local governance, to strengthen the role of social actors with high potential in enforcement of sustainable development.

Carmarthenshire County Council Department of Education is responsible for all aspects of education from 0-18 year olds including training of teaching staff as well as youth, adult and community education. There are 100 primary, 12 secondary, and 2 Special Schools in the local authority. Since the 1990s, a strong commitment has been shown to identifying effective practice in different educational fields in Europe and supporting staff to gain from professional development abroad including through international school linking. Many of our schools have taken part in successful EU-funded projects as well as partnerships with schools in developing countries such as Lesotho, Wales’ “twin” country.

We help to create lasting, positive change in the southern African Kingdom of Lesotho – and in communities here at home in Wales. How do we do it? Link by link. We introduce professionals from schools, hospitals and other organisations who share ideas and approaches. So one teacher learns a new technique from another – and she then goes and teaches that technique to her colleagues, who go on to show others how to do it too? Because they collaborate, schools improve, communities improve and whole districts improve. Kids grow up empowered, with their own ideas to share. Our UK office is in Cardiff but we work with communities and professionals across the whole of Wales.
