WtGW Scotland's event on the 5th of June is begining to take shape! Students from across 5 Glasgow secondary schools are set to attend a fantastic day of events centred around sustainable cities and communities.

We have now confirmed that the day will begin with an event at Glasgow City Chambers. Students will be given the opportunity to have a question and answer session on 'Glasgow - a Sustainable City?' with councillors in the City Council Debating room. This is an exciting opportunity for students to engage with local government as part of their participation in WtGW. Students will then enjoy a short civic reception at the chamber before making their way to Kelvingrove Park for Scotland's Walk the Global Walk! Complete with signs, banners and t-shirts, students will make their way through the park. Students will then visit the School of Education at the University of Glasgow. Here they will participate in a variety of global citizenship activities as well as enjoy presentations from key university academics and organisations on sustainable cities.
