Since 2017, Walk the Global Walk has mobilized young Europeans as actors in the development of a culture of peace and the promotion of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through education on human rights and citizen values. In Normandy, the program is implemented by the team of the International Institute for Human Rights and Peace which this year accompanies 43 classes, 1074 students and 73 teachers in the discovery and implementation of a project in favor of the Sustainable Development Objective 13 "climate action. "

It is in this context that two days of training were organized Tuesday, November 5 in Rouen and Friday, November 8 in Caen to familiarize teachers with teaching tools for human rights education and citizens' values proposed in class to students.

These two days also made it possible to review the different times of the Walk the Global Walk program and to provide the teachers present with a collection of activities that includes various activities on SDG 13, which can be done with their students.

Thanks to 23 participants in Rouen and 31 participants in Caen for their listening and their involvement in these training days.
