As part of the activities of the European project WALK THE GLOBAL WALK, in Pula on 16.10. the third training for Istrian high school teachers participating in the project activities was held. The workshop aimed to acquaint professors with the topics and methodology of teaching this year's goal of sustainable development in focus, which is Peace, Justice, and strong institutions, so that they can apply the acquired knowledge in working with students in their schools and encourage them to actively engage and advocate for sustainable development.

The training was organized by the Public Institution Regional Coordinator of the Region of Istria, in cooperation with the  Association Suncokret from Pula, and was attended by teachers from 13 high schools.
The Walk the Global Walk project is entering its final year of implementation and aims to develop young people's critical awareness of the peace, human rights, and development issues facing the world, and to encourage them to spread that awareness among their peers.
Given the overall situation with the COVID19 pandemic, the project activities are adapted to the epidemiological situation, so this year's educational materials for the implementation of workshops in schools are designed in such a way that they can be conducted online. Among other activities, it is planned to continue this school year with educational workshops in schools and participation in the Global Walk and the International School.
