Despite the coronavirus pandemic and the unfavorable epidemiological situation, the activities of the Walk the Global Walk project continue to be carried out as planned.
A national Winter School is currently underway, which includes the development of a national Manifesto and educational lectures on climate change (Sustainable Development Goal No. 13).
All planned activities are held online, respecting the recommendations of epidemiological services to protect teachers and students participating in the project.
On 7.12.2020 an online educational workshop was organized by the Public Institution Regional Coordinator, which was attended by about 16 students from Istrian high schools, who in January 2021, together with students from other partner countries, will participate in the development of the Youth Manifesto.
The Manifesto will be published on the websites of all partner institutions and will be addressed to decision-makers at the regional, national, and European level.
